Founded in 1991 in the city of Nazaré Paulista, State of São Paulo, Brazil, Glassec has become one of the largest and most important construction glass fabricators in the Brazilian market. Led by Abrahão Farhat, in those early years the company would already stand out for the quality of its products and services.

Twenty years later, now managed by Dario Farhat, Glassec has become an international company by joining Viracon, an American company and global leader with more than 40 years’ experience in architectural glass technology for large projects around the world.

With the merger of the two leaders, the foundations were laid to meet the growing demand for high value-added glass solutions in the domestic and international markets.

Currently, GlassecViracon is managed jointly by Daniel Scarpato (Industrial Officer), Fabiano Toth (Controller) and Marcelo Martins (Commercial Officer).
