The company's commitment is anchored in our attention to the product's manufacturing process, which encompass effluent treatment and recycling of materials, also extending to the development of sustainable glass, thereby contributing towards reduction in energy consumption in buildings in general.
All of the water utilized in the glass lapidation process is treated. The phase separation between glass powder and water is performed at the industrial effluents treatment plant ( also known as E.T.E.) set by GlassecViracon in its manufacturing site, after a study by a Cetesb-accredited company. The clean water then goes back to the manufacturing process, and the glass powder is forwarded to recycling facilities. Recyclable materials, such as glass, PVB film, wood, plastics and paper, are sorted out and forwarded to manufacturers of glass sheets, glass shops, and recycling facilities that utilize these materials in their production processes or else in the development of new products.

Solar control glass, whether they are reflective or low-e, represent an important strategy for green projects since they allow natural light into the space, without compromising the thermal comfort of the building.
