Our commitment to sustainable practices is present in our glass improvement process and development of products that contribute towards the reduction of energy consumption in buildings.
Since its foundation in 1991, GlassecViracon has used a water treatment and reuse system in its manufacturing facilities.
So, in 2012, the company invested in the modernization of the system and deployed a closed-circuit Industrial Effluent Treatment Station capable of reusing a large percentage of the water from the glass washing and cutting processes.

Recyclable materials, such as broken glass and dust, interlayers, plastic and paper, are separated and shipped to glass ply manufacturers, glaziers and recycling institutions, which reuse them in their production processes or for the development of new products.
