Founded in the early 1990s as a family business, Glassec became a multinational company by merging with US Viracon in 2011 to become part of the Apogee group.
Its solid business, excellent products and customized services offered to customers have led the company to set a benchmark in the Brazilian construction market, where it participates with its high performance glass in more than 150 works with Leed or Aqua environmental certification, which has become a requirement for corporate developments worldwide.
In addition to ISO 9001 certifications and approvals of excellence as a solar control glass processor, GlassecViracon is also certified by the Safety Glazing Certification Council (SGCC) and the Insulating Glass Certification Council (IGCC), which allows it to provide laminated safety glass and insulating glass for the United States and other countries.
